Jackson premiered on SHOWTIME and won the Emmy for Outstanding Social Issue Documentary in 2018. Directed by Emmy-winning Maisie Crow, the film won over a dozen Grand Jury and Audience Awards at major film festivals nationwide, including Jury Prize for Best Documentary Feature at New Orleans Film Festival, Indie Memphis Film Festival, Hot Springs Film Festival, and the Social Justice Film Festival in Seattle.
